These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and my travel planning services. By using this website or engaging my services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About My Services

I provide personalised travel planning and itinerary design services for travellers visiting Spain.

My services may include, depending on the package selected:

  • Personalised travel planning

  • Destination recommendations

  • Hotel recommendations and booking assistance

  • Restaurant recommendations

  • Activities and experience recommendations

  • Day trip recommendations

  • Transportation recommendations

  • Personalised itineraries

  • Other travel planning services agreed upon with the client

The exact services provided will depend on the package or service selected by the client.

2. Travel Planning Fee

My travel planning services are subject to a travel planning fee, which will be communicated to you before you decide to proceed.

The planning fee covers the time, expertise, research, recommendations, itinerary design, and other services included in your selected package.

Unless otherwise stated, the planning fee is separate from the cost of hotels, transportation, activities, restaurants, tickets, and other travel expenses.

My travel planning fee is processed through Tern.

Any applicable payment terms, cancellation terms, or refund conditions relating to your planning fee will be communicated to you before your service begins.

3. Third-Party Travel Services

I may recommend or assist with arrangements involving third-party travel providers, including:

  • Hotels

  • Restaurants

  • Tour operators

  • Activity providers

  • Transportation companies

  • Attractions

  • Other travel-related businesses

These services are provided by independent third parties and are subject to their own terms, conditions, cancellation policies, availability, and pricing.

I do not own or operate these third-party services.

Depending on the arrangement, I may either make a reservation on your behalf or provide you with a direct booking link so that you can make the reservation yourself.

Where I make a reservation on your behalf, the relevant third-party provider remains responsible for providing the service.

4. Availability and Pricing

Travel providers may change their prices, availability, schedules, policies, and terms at any time.

While I make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and up-to-date information, I cannot guarantee that prices, availability, or other details will remain unchanged after recommendations are made.

Any booking made directly by you through a third-party website is subject to the terms and conditions of that provider.

5. Changes and Cancellations

Changes or cancellations to hotels, tours, activities, transportation, restaurants, or other third-party services are subject to the individual provider's terms and cancellation policies.

I am not responsible for cancellation fees or other charges imposed by third-party providers.

If you need to make changes to your itinerary, I will do my best to assist you where this forms part of your agreed travel planning service.

Additional work resulting from significant changes to an itinerary may be subject to an additional fee, where applicable.

6. Travel Documents and Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring that you have all documents and requirements necessary for your trip, including:

  • Valid passports or identification documents

  • Visas or entry permissions, where applicable

  • Travel insurance

  • Health or vaccination requirements, where applicable

  • Any other documentation required by the relevant authorities or travel providers

I may provide general information and recommendations, but you remain responsible for verifying the requirements applicable to your individual circumstances.

7. Travel Insurance

I strongly recommend that all clients obtain appropriate travel insurance before travelling.

Travel insurance may provide protection against circumstances such as medical emergencies, cancellations, delays, lost luggage, and other unexpected events.

I am not an insurance provider and do not accept responsibility for losses that could have been covered by appropriate travel insurance.

8. Responsibility for Third-Party Services

I carefully select and recommend travel providers based on my knowledge and experience. However, third-party providers remain responsible for the services they provide.

I am not responsible for:

  • Changes made by third-party providers

  • Delays or cancellations

  • Changes to opening hours or schedules

  • Poor weather or local conditions

  • Overbooking

  • Service interruptions

  • Injury, illness, loss, theft, or damage occurring in connection with third-party services

  • Any other circumstances outside my reasonable control

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

9. Force Majeure

I will not be responsible for failure or delay in providing my services where this results from circumstances beyond my reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include natural disasters, extreme weather, strikes, government actions, pandemics, travel restrictions, civil unrest, transportation disruptions, or other events that could not reasonably have been anticipated or prevented.

10. Affiliate and Partner Links

Some links on my website may be affiliate or partner links.

If you book a service through one of these links, I may receive a commission from the relevant provider at no additional cost to you.

My recommendations are based on my assessment of the experience or service and are not intended to represent that every recommendation is suitable for every traveller.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content on this website, including text, photographs, graphics, branding, logos, itineraries, guides, and other original materials, belongs to The Hat tours or is used with permission.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or commercially use my original content without my prior written permission.

Personalised itineraries and travel planning materials created for a client are provided for that client's personal use and may not be resold, reproduced, or distributed commercially.

I make reasonable efforts to ensure that information published on this website is accurate and up to date.

However, travel information can change frequently. I do not guarantee that all information regarding destinations, prices, opening hours, transportation, activities, or third-party services will always be complete, accurate, or current.
